What it is
Volume is how much trades. The card mirrors it: purchases of the token above the line, sales below, per day, so the size of the market and its lean show at once.
The panel also counts swaps on each side.
Counts and dollars can disagree: many small purchases against a few large sales is a different market from the reverse.
What goes into it
- 1
Each settled day stores total, buying and selling volume in USD and the number of buying and selling swaps.
- 2
The headline is everything traded over the stored days and the share of it that was buying.
buying share = dollars bought ÷ (dollars bought + dollars sold) - 3
The swap-count rules look for one side clearly dominating the recent days' swaps: buying is bull evidence, selling bear evidence.
- 4
Flow rules stay quiet on thinly traded tokens.
- 5
The snapshot keeps each token's volume over the last 7 calendar days ending at the panel's own last day. Obviously mispriced rows are left out of volume sums and rankings.
How to read it
- High
- A busy market: flows and signals on it rest on many trades.
- Low
- A thin market: one wallet can move the day.
- Rising
- Trading is picking up; check which side it comes from.
- Falling
- Trading is drying up.
Evidence in the data, never advice
Common pitfalls
- Volume counts both sides of the same trades; it is not money entering the token.
- A swap count can be inflated by bots splitting orders; dollar volume is harder to inflate cheaply.
- DEX only: trading on centralized exchanges is not here.
