Blocktronics, as an API

The APIhttps://api.blocktronics.xyz/v1

Signed out? The button opens the wallet sign-in first; once you've signed in, the account page opens on your keys.

An agent with its own wallet signs for a key over the API instead, below. In an AI app, connect the MCP with the same key

Get a key

One key per server, script or agent, all on your one balance. The same keys connect the MCP

For people

  1. 1Sign in with your walletOn your account page. Signing in is a signature, not a transaction.
  2. 2Create a keyUnder Keys and connections. Choose what it may do, its daily credit limit and when it ends.
  3. 3Copy it onceA key is btak_ followed by 32 letters and digits. It is shown once and stored hashed: it can be rotated, never recovered.
  4. 4Keep it on your serverA key in browser code is a public key. Call the API from your backend.
Go to your keys

For agents

  1. 1Ask for a messagePOST /v1/auth/nonce with the agent's wallet address. Single use, 10 minutes.
  2. 2Sign itWith the agent's own wallet: a signature, not a transaction. It costs nothing.
  3. 3Get the keyPOST /v1/auth/key with the nonce and the signature. The key comes back once; a wallet with no account gets one, with no credits.
  4. 4Top up from the same walletPOST /v1/topup/wallet once, then POST /v1/topup/quote and send exactly what it says.
How agents' keys work

Authenticate

One scheme: the key as a bearer token in the Authorization header. No signed requests, no keys in the address, no cookies

curl
curl "https://api.blocktronics.xyz/v1/account" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
Your balance and the prices: free, and a quick way to check a key
  • Every request sends Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>.
  • A key is btak_ followed by 32 letters and digits.
  • No key answers 401 signed_out; an unknown, revoked, ended or mistyped one 401 bad_key; a key that can't spend credits 403 key_scope. None is charged

What you can run

Each tool is POST /v1/tools/{tool} with its input as the JSON body, or several at once with POST /v1/query.

Data

token_seriesDaily metrics for up to 5 tokens: any of the catalog's metrics or groups, the latest days or a span from one day to another.2 credits per token
token_overviewOne token's grade with its pillar scores, its main figures with their change over the window, today so far and a short reading.2 credits
todayOne token's open UTC day by hour: DEX flow and volume for everyone, beside the smart-money cohort.2 credits
get_sectionsThe engine sections the token page shows for one token. A section the page doesn't show isn't served. The bundles cost what the site's bundle scan costs; an answer without them is a pull.5 credits with a token's launch bundles (section launch_bundles, or all); 2 credits otherwise
compare_tokens2 to 12 tokens side by side, each figure with its percentile among every token Blocktronics covers.2 credits for the first token, 1 for each added one
screen_tokensEvery covered token filtered and ranked by grade, metrics and signals.2 credits per 20 rows returned
search_tokensFind a token by symbol, name or contract address.2 credits
list_ecosystemsThe ecosystems of covered tokens, with their totals and largest tokens.2 credits
pay_attentionTokens where several signals come together now, with what put each one there.2 credits

Signals and the readout

token_signalsThe signals: the Blocktronics read, whether it leans bullish, bearish or balanced, and every fired signal with its finding. With readout: true, the full readout too (each signal's proof and weighing), at the site's price; it then stays open 24 hours, here and on the site, and its signals come with it.1 credit; with readout: true, 10 credits, then open 24 hours

Cards

render_chartOne Blocktronics card as a PNG and an SVG.2 credits; the bundles card 5
render_card_htmlOne Blocktronics card as a self-contained HTML snippet.2 credits; the bundles card 5

POST/v1/auth/nonceThe message an agent's wallet signs to get a key, with no person or browser. No key needed.
Free
POST/v1/auth/keyThat signature in, a key out (shown once); a wallet with no account gets one, with no credits. No key needed.

DELETE/v1/auth/keyRevokes the key that sends it, at once.
Free

Credits from an agent's wallet

Paid in USDC (USDG on Robinhood) from the wallet the key allows.

POST/v1/topup/walletOnce per wallet: the agent's wallet signs for the key before any top-up quote may name it.
Free
POST/v1/topup/quoteA top-up your agent pays from its own wallet in USDC, within the key's limits.
The credits it buys
GET/v1/topup/{quote_id}That top-up: pending or credited (also ?tx= by the payment's hash).
Free
GET/v1/topupA top-up by its payment's hash (?tx=0x…): not seen yet, credited, or not one of yours.

Tokens Blocktronics hasn't indexed

Quoted first, built from the token's first transfer.

GET/v1/tokens/{chain}/{token}/ingestThe ingest quote for a token Blocktronics hasn't indexed.
Free
POST/v1/tokens/{chain}/{token}/ingestBuilds that token from its first transfer.
The quote, once, as the build starts

Swap, for protocols

Free to call; your account earns half of each swap's fee as credits.

GET/v1/swapThe swap API for protocols: what's live on each chain, the fee, the contracts, the credits rule and the limits. No key needed.
Free
POST/v1/swap/quoteA same-chain swap quote; with firm and taker, the transaction for the taker's wallet to sign.
Free
GET/v1/swap/token/{chain}/{token}A token's five reads and its safety checks, as the swap page shows them, from stored data.
Free
POST/v1/swap/reportA confirmed swap's hash: the fee is read from the chain and half of it comes back to your account as credits.
Free

Credits

Paid per answer, from credits you buy ahead

Prepaid, one balanceCredits are bought ahead and held on your account. The site, the API and the MCP draw on the same balance, and so does every key; a key can carry its own daily limit.
Price it firstGET /v1/catalog lists every tool's input and price, and GET /v1/account your balance with the prices: both free. A token Blocktronics hasn't indexed is quoted with GET …/ingest, also free.
402 when shortA balance that can't cover a request answers 402 before anything runs and says what it takes; a query or an ingest also says what's short and what the account has. Nothing is charged.
Only answers are chargedEvery answer says what it charged. Refusals, errors and quotes are free.

Try it

A first call with curl, and an agent that gets its own key and calls a tool

curl -X POST "https://api.blocktronics.xyz/v1/tools/token_series" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BLOCKTRONICS_KEY" \
