Swap terms

Draft, pending counsel. These terms apply once swaps are switched on, on top of the site's terms and privacy notice, drafts too.

What the swap is

Blocktronics shows an interface for swapping tokens from your own wallet. Quotes and transactions come from third-party aggregators (KyberSwap); Blocktronics checks each one, and your wallet shows it, signs it and sends it. Blocktronics never holds your tokens, your keys or your transaction, and can't reverse one.

Our fee

Blocktronics takes a fee of 0.2% of each swap, paid to Blocktronics in the same transaction. Every quote names it with its amount and the token it is taken in. Network fees, the pools' own fees and any fee an aggregator takes itself are separate; an aggregator's own fee is shown beside ours when it charges one.

Swap rewards

Swap and earn $BLOCKTRONICS. A swap on Base, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Linea, Unichain, Sonic, Berachain, HyperEVM, Ronin, Monad, Plasma, MegaETH, Etherlink and Arc worth $50 or more when it runs, made here from the wallet you're signed in with and confirmed onchain, earns part of its Blocktronics fee back as a rebate in $BLOCKTRONICS, up to 5 rewarded swaps a day. Each swap counts once. The value comes from the quote's dollar figures checked against what the transaction moved.

The rebate sits in Blocktronics' shared rebate wallet, a multisig, with a ledger of each wallet's rebate. Spend it as credits on the platform, or withdraw and hold: your unspent rebate counts toward your Blocktronics credits and is spent before bought credits, and as credits are spent, the matching $BLOCKTRONICS moves from your rebate to the Blocktronics treasury. You can withdraw the unspent $BLOCKTRONICS to your wallet and hold it, or keep it there and use it as credits. What it is worth in credits follows the $BLOCKTRONICS price.

Until the rebate wallet is connected, rebates show as whole credits in your account and withdrawals aren't open yet. A rebate isn't a payment, interest or a return, and the rule may change or stop at any time.

Information only

Grades, figures and signals on Blocktronics are information about onchain activity. They aren't financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on the site recommends buying, selling or holding any token. You decide what to trade.

Risks

  • Prices move while a swap settles; slippage sets how much less than the quote you accept, and a swap that would fall below it fails.
  • A failed or reverted transaction still costs its network fee.
  • Transactions onchain are final. Check the token, the amounts and the network before you confirm in your wallet.
  • Some tokens tax transfers, can't be sold, or are imitations of others. Warnings appear where the aggregator reports them; their absence isn't a guarantee.
  • An approval lets the aggregator's contract move a token from your wallet. The exact amount is the default; an unlimited approval lasts until you revoke it.
  • Aggregators, pools and token contracts are third-party software with their own risks.

Who may use it

You may use the swap only where doing so is lawful for you. It isn't offered to anyone subject to sanctions or in a sanctioned or embargoed place, and Blocktronics may turn it off for any place or person, or entirely, at any time. You are responsible for any taxes on your trades.

Third parties

The aggregators and the pools they route through have their own terms, which also apply to your swap. Blocktronics doesn't control them and isn't responsible for them.

What is sent

For a quote, this site sends the aggregator the chain, the two tokens and the amount. For the transaction, it also sends the address of your wallet, which the aggregator needs to build it; Blocktronics doesn't store that address. Product analytics record only the chain, the token and a size bucket, never an amount, a wallet or a transaction. Your recent swaps are kept in your own browser. When you collect a swap reward, your account keeps that transaction's hash, the chain and its dollar value, so each swap counts once.
