Settled day vs intraday
A settled day is a finished UTC day stored for good. Intraday is the current UTC day so far, partial until it ends.
Panels on their clocks. Each panel of DEGEN's read with the days it has stored. They don't all end on the same day.

What it is
Blocktronics keeps time in UTC.
A day is settled once it has ended and its row is stored; until then it is the current, running day.
Panels settle on their own clocks. Holders, concentration, DEX netflow, smart money and volume only ever store finished days. Cost basis, profitability and realized PnL can carry a partial row for the current day whose figures still move. The intraday read (Today, by hour) is the current day by design.
Everything that compares days uses settled days only: the signal rules, the 7-day snippets, alerts replayed over past days, the brief. Intraday figures are shown, never replayed.
What goes into it
- 1
The current UTC day is the intraday read's day, unless a daily row already closes it; without a usable intraday read, a partial-panel row newer than every settled-only panel is the open one.
- 2
Settled rows are those before that day; the rules read nothing else.
- 3
A card's provenance mark says "Settled through <day>": the stalest of its panels' last settled day, and notes a partial row for the current day when one is drawn.
How to read it
- High
- Settled: final for that day.
- Low
- Intraday: a running total that can still change.
- Rising
- A panel moving its settled day forward as the backend stores each finished day.
- Falling
- A panel stuck on an older day is lagging; see data freshness.
Evidence in the data, never advice
Common pitfalls
- The last point on a cost-basis, profitability or realized-PnL chart can be the current day's partial row.
- "Today" is the UTC day: in the Americas it starts the evening before.
