What it is
The Outlook strips out the hype.
For one token, the Blocktronics engine compares with similar past setups across the tokens it has measured, and reports what happened next to them.
It answers one question at 7, 30 and 90 days: when setups like this happened before, how did they play out? How many setups, how many ended higher against the background for every token, and the spread of their moves from the worst tenth to the best tenth.
It is the sober check before acting on a story: not a prediction but a comparison against tokens with a similar past setup.
What goes into it
- 1
The engine compares the token's last settled day with similar past setups (a thin match, with few close ones, says so).
- 2
For each horizon it reports how many setups, how many ended higher, the median move and the spread from the worst tenth to the best tenth.
- 3
Levels are arithmetic on those moves: today's market cap moved by each quantile.
level = today × (1 + move ÷ 100) - 4
The cone joins today to each measured horizon (or follows the engine's own day-by-day fan); a quantile the engine didn't send is a gap.
- 5
No edge: the share that ended higher and the median move both sit close to the background's.
- 6
The track record scores the engine's past outlooks for the token: outcomes inside the middle half (about half when calibrated), inside 8 in 10, and the direction where there was an edge.
How to read it
- High
- Most comparable setups ended higher: setups like this have tended to resolve upward over the horizon, against the background.
- Low
- Most ended lower: the sober number to weigh before a story about the token.
- Rising
- The Outlook moving to the higher side: the alert "Outlook turns positive" says when it does, with an edge.
- Falling
- Moving to the lower side: "Outlook turns negative".
Evidence in the data, never advice
Common pitfalls
- It describes comparable setups, not this token's future: the spread is the point, and a wide cone is the honest answer.
- Read the share that ended higher against the background: 60% when every token rose 60% of the time is no edge.
- "Sample outlook, not real" marks development data; with no engine connected the site says the Outlook connects soon and shows no numbers.
- Blurred figures under "Subscribe to see the Outlook" are placeholders, not the token's numbers: the page isn't sent them.
