Fleet median and middle half
Where a token sits among every token Blocktronics covers: the median is the middle token, the middle half spans the 25th to 75th.
Every token. MVRV for each of the 234 cached tokens that have one: one dot each.

What it is
A number alone doesn't say whether it is high. The fleet gives it a scale: every cached token's value for the same measure.
The fleet median is the middle value: half the tokens are above it, half below.
The middle half is the range from the 25th to the 75th percentile, where the central half of all tokens sit. A token's percentile says what share of the fleet sits below it.
The grade card draws each pillar's median as a tick and the middle half as a band; the terminal's fleet strip does the same for market cap, holders, holder growth, MVRV, top-10 share and the grade score.
What goes into it
- 1
Sort the fleet's values (missing ones left out) and read the quartiles by linear interpolation between neighbours; at least 3 values are needed.
quantile q = v[⌊p⌋] + (v[⌈p⌉] − v[⌊p⌋]) × (p − ⌊p⌋), with p = (n − 1) × q - 2
The token's percentile counts tokens below it, plus half of those equal to it.
percentile = (below + equal ÷ 2) ÷ n × 100 - 3
Per grade pillar and for the composite, across the snapshot's scores; for the fleet strip's measures, from the snapshot rows, with log scales clipped to the 2nd–98th percentile.
How to read it
- High
- Above the middle half: the token is in the top quarter of the fleet on that measure.
- Low
- Below the middle half: in the bottom quarter.
- Rising
- The token climbing through the fleet, or the fleet falling around it.
- Falling
- The token sliding down the fleet, or the fleet rising around it.
Evidence in the data, never advice
Common pitfalls
- The fleet is the tokens Blocktronics caches, not every token in existence.
- A percentile moves when other tokens move, even if this one doesn't.
- Better or worse depends on the measure: a lower top-10 share is less concentrated; for MVRV neither side is marked as good.
