Affiliate program terms
A working draft, not an offer. The legal sign-off is pending, and these terms change before the program opens. Where a number isn't decided yet, it says so.
1. Who can join
Anyone who signs in to Blocktronics with a wallet they control and is old enough to enter a contract where they live. One affiliate account per person. We may decline or close an affiliate account that breaks these terms.
2. How a referral is counted
- Your link sets a first-party cookie on this site that lasts 60 days by default. It only records which link was followed; it isn't used for advertising or shared with anyone.
- If someone follows more than one affiliate link, the latest one counts, until they sign up.
- A referral is made when the person signs in with a wallet for the first time. From then on they are linked to you permanently, whatever links they follow later.
- People who already have an account can't be referred.
3. Commissions
You earn a share of the subscription payments and API top-ups made by the people you refer, for a period after each one's sign-up. The rates and the period are to be announced. Commissions are worked out on what was actually paid, after refunds, and paid out in dollars, never in credits.
4. Payouts
- Each commission is held for a period before it can be paid, so refunds can be taken back. The holding period is to be announced.
- Payouts are made by hand in stablecoins (USDC on Base proposed) to your payout wallet, after a person reviews the payout report. Nothing is paid automatically.
- A minimum payout applies; the amount is to be announced.
- Your payout wallet is your sign-in wallet unless you change it with a message signed by your sign-in wallet. Check it: a payment sent to the wallet you set can't be recalled.
- Identity checks and tax reporting may apply above certain amounts; the thresholds are being decided. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.
5. Not allowed
- Referring yourself: your own sign-in wallet, your payout wallets, or accounts you control.
- Spam, unsolicited messages, or posting your link where it isn't welcome.
- Bidding on Blocktronics names in paid search, or ads that look like ours.
- Misleading claims: promising returns, presenting Blocktronics as financial advice, or inventing features or numbers.
- Pretending to be Blocktronics or its team, or using handles that suggest you are.
6. Review and cancelled commissions
Many sign-ups from one network in a short time (3 or more within 24 hours through one link) are held for review, not paid automatically. We may cancel commissions from referrals that break these terms, that are refunded, or that turn out not to be real people using Blocktronics, and say why.
7. Changes
We may change these terms and the rates with notice on this page. Changes don't take away commissions already payable.
8. Contact
A dedicated contact for the program comes with the final terms. Until then, questions go to the Blocktronics team through the email or Telegram in the site's footer, or start from the affiliates page.
Draft for review. Not legal advice and not yet in force.
